Tom brings over 30 years of mining experience, having held senior leadership roles across globally recognised organisations including Newmont, Anglo American and Wesfarmers. His background spans operational leadership, technical services, risk management, and health, safety and environmental performance across both site-based and corporate roles.
In this position, Tom will provide strategic leadership across M Group’s operational mining activities, including M&A, technical services, statutory obligations, HSE, and commercial outcomes.
Tom also currently serves as a Non-Executive Director for Mount Isa Minerals and the Australian Road Safety Foundation, and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He holds a Bachelor of Mining Engineering (First Class Honours) from the University of Queensland, a Bachelor of Geology, and a Master of Business and Technology from the University of New South Wales.
Based in Brisbane, Tom will play a key role in supporting the continued growth and operational strength of M Group.
